'No 3 Mk 1*r' British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British, manufactured in the United States circa 1914-1916. Features a blued/black painted finish, 26" barrel, shrouded patridge front sight, receiver mounted A.J. Parker adjustable rear sight with variable aperture diopter, front volley sight, metal forend cap/barrel band with bayonet lug & piling swivel, serrated trigger, internal 6 round box magazine, manual safety on the right side of the receiver, bent bolt handle, charge loading guide cuts in the receiver, brown leather sling, smooth wood handguard, 'Fat Boy' forend and straight grip shoulder stock with brass disc & metal trapdoor buttplate. The stock is marked "5CS/C.62" inside a circle, the stock disc is marked "B/2395," the bolt is marked with a "*" and the receiver is marked with a "RE" inside an oval/"*". Serial numbers match on the receiver and bolt handle. Rifle exhibits approximately 60% of it's finish showing thinned bluing on the receiver and edge wear and flaking on the black painted surfaces.
