Paraffin wax treatment is heat therapy in which paraffin oil in wax form is used that is the refined and inflammable form of petroleum. Paraffin wax has the capacity to absorb and retain the great amount of heat but at lowest normal temperature. The heat retaining capacity of paraffin wax allows it to be used on dry skin without any skin burning risk. Paraffin wax is in solid form at room temperature but it melts when put it in the paraffin tub or boiler and provide heat. When liquid paraffin wax interacts with skin, it solidifies again as it cools down. The heat contained in the paraffin wax gets transfer to the skin.
