Remington New Model Navy Revolver, .36 caliber percussion, fully and finely factory or period engraved with deluxe etched cylinder and rammer, nickel plated, ivory grips, in case with accessories, serial #38. The pistol shows approx. 70-80% original nickel drifting on the cylinder and loading lever. The barrel address and markings are sharp, the edges are crisp. There is some beginning pinprick pitting and erosion. The cylinder is finely etched and shows scenes of officers on horseback shooting at each other. The ramrod is etched with scrolls, the balance nicely engraved with Nimschke style scrolls, ropes, borders. The hammer shows 50-70% original case hardening. The cylinder shows all of its deep original etching. The ivory grips show some age cracking and yellowing and have shrunk slightly. The action is good, the bore is very good. The pistol is contained within its genuine to the period velveteen line partition style case which is in good to very good condition showing some fraying, normal aging. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
