Cone front and frame notch sights. There is no visible Remington marking on the barrel. The left side of the frame under the grip has the serial number as well as the number "24". The number "24" is also stamped on the underside of the barrel. The number "7" is stamped on the brass trigger guard and "112" on the cylinder. Nickel plated and smooth varnished grips with the right panel numbered to a different gun.
BBL: 8 inch octagon
Stock:
Gauge: 44 CF
Finish: nickel
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 4008/24
Condition: Very good. The revolver retains 60% of the original nickel finish (mostly on the barrel and cylinder) with the balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are fine with some minor dings and scratches. The firing pin is broken (as well as the recoil plate) and the action functions, but needs some work.
