Manufactured in 1913. Equipped with Lyman ivory bead blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights on a barrel with the two line address/patent dates marking ahead of the rear sight and a floral scroll engraving at the breech. The receiver also features a floral scroll engraving along with a zigzag line border motif. The safety, magazine, trigger guard, and tangs are also engraved. Round knob pistol grip stock with checkered forearm and grip area, and Remington Arms trademark embossed hard rubber buttplate. The forearm takedown screw has a small wire swiveling loop.

Condition: Very good. The rifle retains 85% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor scratches. The freshened finish wood is fine with some minor handling marks and a long hairline crack near the buttplate (left side) with some wear in the checkering. The buttplate has a minor chip missing near the toe.
