Remington Model 1882 bolt-action full-stocked rifle, U.S. marked and inspected, detachable magazine, iron cleaning rod, two sling swivels, .45 cal., 32” round barrel, blue finish, wood stock, #9630. This gun is inoverall good condition showing a dark brown patina on the metal surfaces, dark bore, crisp action, good markings including “US”, “V” and “P” proofs, “D.F.C.” inspection on top of receiver and “P” and “D.F.C.”cartouches on the stock behind the trigger guard; wood stock is overall good with scattered nicks and mars from carry and storage and some wear on the top stock rail near the breech on the left side of themid-stock. This model is not easily found with U.S. inspections as the majority were made for foreign contracts and commercial sales. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
