Remington Model 1871 Army Rolling Block pistol, .50 cal., 8” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #NVSN. This Martially marked gun is in overall very good condition showing slight traces of original blue on barrel inprotected areas with the balance gone to an even grey with some scattered pin prick pitting; approx. 50% muted case colors on the frame, crisp action, good markings, fair + bore; good grips with visible “CRS” inspector’s cartouche on thebottom left side of the grip. A nice example of this Model of which only approx. 5,000 were made. Est.: $700-$1,400.
