Manufactured in 1915. The smooth bore barrel has a single bead front sight with two filled dovetail slots towards the breech. The barrel is marked with the two line address/patent marking followed by ".44 REM OR .44 W.C.F. / SMOOTH BORE" on the left side, with "REMINGTON / TRADE MARK" on the top at the breech. Equipped with a Lyman peep sight. 12 groove forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate.

Condition: Refinished. The rifle retains 90% of the blue finish thinning to a brown with extensive slide wear. The wood is fine with a couple hairline cracks near the upper tang and a filled sight mount hole on top of the grip area along with some minor dings and scratches. Markings a weak but overall legible.
