Vintage American made semi-automatic shotgun chambered for 2-3/4" 12 Gauge shells, and manufactured circa 1927-1928 in Ilion, NY. Shotgun features a blued finish, 27" round barrel, serrated red bead front sight, adjustable combination choke and muzzle break, annular cut manual safety at the rear of the trigger guard, smooth slightly curved trigger, annular cut bolt release, and serrated charging handle. The hardwood furniture consists of a semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, 13-1/2" length-of-pull, 1-5/8" drop at comb, 2-5/16" drop at heel, White Line black ventilated rubber recoil pad with a white and black spacer, and finger grooves above the checkering on the forearm provide a "Prince of Wales" style grip. The original blued metal finish is about 88% with light scratches, edge wear, and general thinning on the receiver and tangs. The metal has light spots of rust, and slight metal deformation was observed in some of the screw slots. Bore is bright and shiny, and the wood furniture is in fair condition with scratches, dings, impressions, low areas in the checkering, and a couple of significant cracks on the forend. The action is works well, but the bolt feels a little sticky when pulled fully rearward. There is a missing screw on the left side of the receiver.
Condition is NRA Fair to Good.
