Property being sold is not new! Dents, dings, scratches and other damage may be present—and is common—on used and vintage items. Items are available for preview well in advance of the auction and we take several pictures as well. Please inspect thoroughly PRIOR to bidding. Once auctioneer says “SOLD” Buyer assumes all responsibility for items.
For sale in this lot is a Remington M. 17 20 gauge pump shotgun. In 1915 John Browning patented a pump-action shotgun with the following features: hammerless, under-loading, tubular-magazine, bottom-ejecting, and take-down. This design would eventually become the Remington Model 17. The Model 17 was a trim, 20-gauge shotgun which served as the design basis for three highly successful shotguns: the Remington Model 31, the Ithaca 37 and the Browning BPS. This shotgun is a full choke with a 28 inch barrel and a single bead front sight. It is in average condition for its age and seems to function properly, however it has not been tested by us. Maker: Remington. Serial No. 16522. Approx. Age: Circa 1920s. Size: Barrel measures 28 inches. Condition: Pretty good for its age, wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $25 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that. BUY IT NOW: If you would like to buy this item now without waiting for the auction to end (this option is only available up to 48 hours before the auction starts to close), the “Buy it Now” price is the high estimate of this lot. If you would like to end the auction early and pay the high estimate (plus applicable fees), please contact us by phone or email and reference this lot number. *****This firearm requires an FFL Transfer*****
