Remington Keene .45-70 bolt action carbine, probably Indian police used. No markings on breech appear to have been removed long ago. The barrel and magazine tube show blue turning plumb. Some erosion and light to moderate pitting. The actionshows some light to slightly heavy pitting. The stock shows weathering and some drying, cracks, gouges, losses, and hard wear from the frontier. The action is surprisingly good, the bore is very good. The Remington markings on bolt are clear,the area of the breech and side of the frame may have had markings removed. Just the type of Keene used by the Indian police in the frontier era. Est: $2,500 - $4,000
