Remington-Hepburn falling block single shot rifle, .40 1-7/8" cal., 30” half round/half octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered wood pistol grip stock with plain fore stock, Swiss butt plate, flip-upadjustable Vernier tang sight, hooded front sight and mounted with a Winchester A5 scope with adjustable mounts, #344. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 70% original blue on barrel and approx. 60%original case colors on receiver with balance gone to a silvery finish, fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings, fine wood with some scattered nicks and mars from storage, nickel plated Swiss target butt plate; very goodoptics to Winchester tube scope.
