Remington-Hepburn No. 3 Target rifle, .38 cal., 28” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered wood butt stock and wood fore end with metal cap, #2706. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 80% original blue finish on barrel with high point wear and some scattered light erosion and pin prick pitting; approx. 35% original case colors on the frame, also with some small points of erosion and pin prick pitting, bore should clean to good +, action crisp and markings sharp; vernier tang sight, adjustable rear sight and beeches flip up front sight with gold wash. The wood is overall very good and the gun overall is very presentable and would add nicely to any target or single shot collector’s inventory. Est.: $1,500-$2,500.
