Fine. The barrel retains approximately 40% thinning original finish with the balance mixed with smooth brown patina. The breechblock and hammer retain 30% of the bright original finish. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth mottled gray/silver patina with strong original bright colors around the lever. The wood is also fine with scattered minor dings, dents and scratches associated with a gun of this age and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
