Remington Elliot’s Patent, .41 caliber rimfire derringer known as “Mississippi”, nickel plated, rosewood grips, serial number 4543. The pistol remains in very good plus to near fine original condition with approx 85-95% original dull satin nickel finish remaining that has been completely unpolished, shows some slight bubbling and areas where nickel has lifted show some beginning erosion and patina. The barrel address is sharp, the bore is good, the action is good. The rosewood grips are good with even aging from carry. This Remington is unpolished, despite the custom of modern collectors to polish the nickel. Est.: $1,500-$2,500
