Remington .22 caliber zig-zag double-action six-shot .22 caliber pepperbox derringer, blue and silver finish, hardrubber grips, the serial #947. The derringer remains in original very good condition showing traces of original blue, mostly in the flutes of the barrel, balance drifted to a light grey with just some starting erosion and pinprick pitting. The frame shows 80-90% darkened original silver plate that is completely unpolished. The small parts and springs show considerable case hardening and blue. The patent markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, the grips are good with one small chip at the edge. The action is working well and the derringer has seen little use and is very good plus overall.
