Antique single action revolver chambered in .44-40 Winchester, manufactured circa 1875-1889. Features a bright nickel plated finish, 7 1/2" round barrel, ejector rod with large webbed housing, pinched post front sight, 'u' notched rear sight, fluted six-shot cylinder, smooth wide trigger, hammer with knurled spur & integral firing pin, monolithic frame/grip frame with lanyard ring on the butt and two-piece smooth wood grips with "44" stamped in the bottom of the left panel. Revolver retains approximately 80% of it's original nickel plated finish showing scattered losses with some pin prick pitting in the void. Action is mechanically sound, the bore is very good with a small amount of scattered pitting, markings are clear and the wood grips are very good with "Tex" intertwined "AS" & "Frisco" carved in the back of the panels. The grips also have "267" written in pencil on the back of both panels. Condition is NRA Fine++. ***Antique Firearm***
