Remember Belgium! 30x20 WWI Posters (Lot of 15) Remember Belgium!
Remember Belgium! (Lot of 15) 30" x 20" Artist: Ellsworth Young. Printed for the Fourth Liberty Loan. This poster depicts a Hun soldier complete with his notable Pickelhaube helmet, leading young children by force, as flames rage behind them from a burning village. The texts entreats us to "Remember Belgium" and to give to the Fourth Liberty Loan. The Germans took Belgium on October 9th, 1914, at the siege of Antwerp. The Germans treated the Belgians horribly and this sign asked Americans to remember their treatment, so that they may avenge it and also, more importantly, prevent it from happening to them. A fantastic poster which fits nicely into the Fourth Liberty Loan theme of showing graphic and violent images. No serious collection should lack this poster!

Condition: Poster 1- Fine; normal wear on edges from rolling/storage, paper yellowing slightly.
Poster 2- Superior; normal wear on edges from rolling/storage, paper yellowing slightly.
Poster 3- Good; severe tear down center, major wear on edges from rolling/storage, paper yellowing slightly.
Poster 4- Fair; severe tear on bottom edge which extends into the graphic, upper right corner is extremely mangled, major wear on edges from rolling/storage, dirt residue on upper edge, cockling from fold memory.
Poster 5- Good; severe tear on upper edge, major tear on lower edge, dirt residue on lower edge water damage spots on right edge.
Poster 6- Fine; normal wear on edges from rolling/storage, dirt residue on lower edge, colors look slightly washed out.
Posters 7-15- Fine; some transference has occurred from being rolled together so long, but are all in fine condition!
