This is a beautiful etching, after Rembrandt, by master engraver Amand Durand. Titled "Jan Uytenbogaert, The Goldweigher" (year of original 1639). This piece is in excellent condition, and has never been framed. Measurements: image size is 9 1/4" x 8" on 17" x 15" Somerset paper. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Ref. #281 according to the British Catalogue, circa 1797, is a hand pulled-ETCHING from the AUTHENTIC & Original copper Rembrandt plates by Armand-Durand (1831-1905) overseen by Art World Industries, inc. Rembrandt plate signature on lower left.
