DLO Cover, Registered Post, 1950, emanated from Bulawayo in Southern Rhodesia, addressed to A. Siruvayal P.O. via Kallal, Ramnad district, South India, tied up with 3 stamps of George VI valued with 6 pence. Dispatched by registered post from BULAWAYO registration no. 9318 as seen on the label.

A total of 8 postmarks/seals are visible, postmark of RANMANAI-SIRUVAYAL RAMNAD with the date in the center visible in two places, the cover reached Siruvayal on the 1st August 1950. D.L.O. Madras cancellation in a square box of 3 Aug 50 at two places. IPOH cancellation of 21 Aug 50 in the round circle. Additionally, an extra paper-note affixed on the cover with the seal of “DEAD LETTER OFFICE MADRAS” and “RE-EXPEIDE” with the instruction of redirected to “IPOH” (via) Madras in Red ink, excellent condition, Very Rare. 

Note: IPOH is situated in the Perak of Malaysia, probably it was redirected from Madras to Malaysia as many traders from the state of Tamilnadu were having businesses in Malaya.
