<B><I>Reflections</B></I></B></I><BR><BR>Harriet Whitney Frishmuth (1880-1980), American<BR>Modeled 1930; Edition of 12.<BR>Bronze with naturally weathered green patina<BR>Incised: <I>HARRIET W FRISHMUTH - © / 1930</B></I><BR>4 Feet 6 inches high<BR><BR>A fountain featuring a nude female standing with one heel slightly lifted, arms relaxed, and chin lowered on a pedestal decorated with daffodils. <I> Reflections</B></I> shares a quite moment during one of Desha's improvisational dances in the artist's studio. This was the final work for which Desha posed for Frishmuth. The fountain was commissioned by George Robinson. The above has a beautiful weathered patination due to being kept outdoors at Charles Aronson's Frishmuth Gallery and home at Hundred Acres, Arcade, New York.<BR>Illus.: C.N.
