<B>Reconstruction Letter Signed by William Whipple.</B></I> One page, 7.75" x 10", Nashville, Tennessee, June 23, 1865, signed "<I>Wm D. Whipple"</B></I> on reverse. This letter, containing important Reconstruction content, was sent to Major General Henry Slocum, directing him to enforce the proper conduct of those under his command.
