Acrylic on canvas, framed. Featuring blocky figures. Signed "RAY CUEVAS" on the bottom right corner. Sticker reading "7013204 05/06" affixed to top stretched bar on verso. Signed by Raymond Cuevas (b.1932, American). 49 x 59 cm (19.5 x 23 inches). Framed size: 54 x 64 cm (21 x 25 inches). Raymond Cuevas was born 1932 and raised in Los Angeles. After earning a scholarship from the Chouinard Art Institute, he was given the privilege of studying with Chouinard instructors Ed Reep, Harold Kramer, Rex Brandt and Elmer Plummer. After graduating from Chouinard, Cuevas studied painting and drawing with Arnold Mesches and Bentley Schaad at Otis Art Institute. During this time, he also worked as a commercial artist and award-winning graphic and advertising designer for more than twenty-five years. Exhibits at: Peregrine Galleries, Montecito/Santa Barbara Old L.A. Antique & Modern Elements, L.A.
