Film, stage, radio, and television actor (1889–1965), he played Lieutenant Tragg in the long-running Perry Mason TV series. Vintage glossy 7.75 x 9.75 head-and-shoulders photo of Collins, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Kenny, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Sincerely, Ray Collins, Hollywood, 1956”; and an ALS, one page, 5.75 x 9, December 21, 1956, in part: “Where on earth did you get that picture of me? We have never seen it and for some strange reason my wife wants to pick one up for herself—please drop me the enclosed card and perhaps we can get one.” In overall fine condition, with a few creases and roughly trimmed right edge to the photo.
