<B>Ray Charles 78s, Group of 12 (1949-56).</B></I> "The Genius" began his recording career with The Maxin Trio in 1949, and two copies of that pivotal record are included here, along with 10 other records, that predated his crossover success into the Pop charts beginning in 1957. The 1949 debut went to #2, and all but one of the others here were Top Ten R&B smashes as well. Included: two copies of "Confession Blues"/ "I Love You, I Love You" as by The Maxin Trio (Down Beat 171, 1949) in EX 7 (a semi-flex copy) and VG-EX 6, "Kissa me Baby"/ "I'm Glad For Your Sake" (Swing Time 274, 1951) in NM 8, "Roll With Me Baby"/ "The Midnight Hour" (Atlantic 976, 1952) in EX 7, "It Should've Been Me"/ "Sinner's Prayer" (Atlantic 1021, 1954) in MT 9, two copies of "This Little Girl of Mine"/ "A Fool For You" (Atlantic 1063, 1955) both in EX 7, four copies of "Greenbacks"/ "Blackjacks" (Atlantic 1076, 1955 - 3 in EX 7, 1 in VG-EX 6), and "Hallelujah I Love Her So"/ "What Would I Do Without You" (Atlantic 1096, 1956) in VG 5.<BR><BR><b>Shipping:</b> Recordings (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.heritageauctions.com/common/shipping.php">view shipping information</a>)
