Ray Bradbury's own James Bingham painting for ''The Fog Horn'', a short story in Bradbury's compilation book, ''The Golden Apples of the Sun''. Bingham's illustration of the sea monster demolishing the lighthouse shows a black and blue monster in water against a warm peach sky. Art is signed, ''Bingham'' at lower right. Dates to circa 1951. Medium is casein on illustration board. Measures 37.5'' x 26.5''. Notations to verso and a few specks to sky, else near fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
