Ray Bradbury's personal coin collection. Nice assortment comprises: (1) an encapsulated 1973 American Revolution bicentennial commemorative sterling silver medal featuring busts of Samuel Adams and Patrick Henry in mint condition; (2) pair of encapsulated .999 fine silver coins from the USC School of Cinema-Television. Proof set is one of a limited edition of 250 sets, with coins weighing one troy ounce each. Mint; (3) pair of uncirculated silver Eisenhower dollar coins, each housed in a transparent sealed packet with a plastic COA medallion, COA card indicating 40% silver and original envelope from the Department of the Treasury; (4) Man-on-the-Moon medal by 99 Enterprises, originators of Certified Coins and Medals with serial number 09663, accompanied by a first day Moon Landing cover. Mint; (5) collection of 21 different transit tokens from the Games of the XXIII Olympics, held in Los Angeles in 1984. Each token features a different Olympic event as designed by N. Neil Haris: Archery, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Equestrian, Fencing, Field Hockey, Gymnastics, Judo, Pentathlon, Rowing, Shooting, Soccer, Swimming, Team Handball, Track & Field, Volleyball, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, and Yachting. Minted in alloy metal by the Southern California Rapid Transit District (SCRTD). Bradbury has amassed 21 of the 24 different designs. Some tarnishing and scratching from use; (6) collection of 5 Eisenhower proof dollars, each housed in its original faux-wood paper case with gilt Presidential seal. Mint; (7) book of Lincoln cents, labeled 1909 VDB-1948 S. Filled with 25 different cents. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
