The dust jacket has minor rubbing, light creases, and tiny tears and chips at the head and foot of the spine. Overall fine condition.<BR><BR>This original 1953 first edition of <I>The Golden Apples of the Sun</B></I> contains twenty-two short stories (the collection eventually would grow to include a total of thirty-two). Titles include "The Fog Horn," "The April Witch," "Invisible Boy," "The Flying Machine," and "The Golden Apples of the Sun." Bradbury gleaned his title from the William Butler Yeats poem "The Song of Wandering Aengus."
