Lot of 7 decorative and cultural items from the home of Ray Bradbury, including: (1) figural statuette of the jackal-headed Egyptian god of the afterlife, Anubis. Splitting to both of his calves and absent staff; (2) figural statue of the cat-headed Egyptian war goddess Bast. The deity is cut off at the ankles and staff is also absent; (3) dove sculpture with a plaque affixed to base reading, ''The Bird of Peace Flies on Wings of Justice''. Beak tip is absent; (4) very detailed hand sculpture of a man's hand wearing a large ring, painted in a bronze color finish. Evidence of prior mounting to a base and scattered chips to finish; (5) star-shaped lidded metal box with the logo of Mt. San Antonio College 1946 on the lid. Lined in black velvet; (6) lidded red clay box in the form of a frog, painted in blue with multicolor scene and decoration; (7) solid snowflake obsidian stone, cut into a tetradecahedron (14-sided figure) and polished. Items range in size from 2.5'' x 3.25'' to 11'' x 4''. Save for aforementioned flaws, lot is very good overall. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
