Lot of four Joseph Mugnaini concept art pieces from Ray Bradbury's personal collection. Pair of black and white drawings of a kite are for Bradbury's famous novel, ''The Halloween Tree''. In the story, a group of 8 boys go trick-or-treating and are taken on a historical tour of Halloween rituals via a giant magic kite made of old carnival posters. Mixed media on paper date to circa 1970. Both drawings appear side by side on a single sheet measuring 20'' x 13''. Second half of the lot comprises a pair of offset lithographs in color; they are trial proofs for the set of one of Bradbury's plays, either ''The Pedestrian'' or ''To The Chicago Abyss''. These date to circa 1980. Both pieces feature multicolor city scenes of angular, futuristic structures. Lithos measure 20'' x 15'' and 19.25'' x 13.25''. Toning to white space, otherwise art is near fine overall. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
