Lot of three Joseph Mugnaini drawings from the personal collection of Ray Bradbury. Drawings are custom created to illustrate Bradbury's works. The largest drawing is for Bradbury's short story ''Hail and Farewell'', published in ''The Golden Apples of the Sun''. Ink drawing on parchment depicts a man carrying a suitcase beside railroad tracks and underneath power lines. The other two ink drawings on parchment were specially made for the publication of Bradbury's story ''The Wind'' in his book ''The October Country'', both depicting a leafless tree withstanding a powerful gale, with all the limbs stylized to stretch horizontally. As preliminary concept pieces, the two drawings differ slightly from each other in terms of minor details, in addition to one drawing having been dramatically shaded. Drawing for ''Hail and Farewell'' measures 11'' x 8.5''. Toning and a chip to the right edge; very good condition. Each tree drawing measures 4'' x 6.5''. A tiny bit of tape to the right edges at center, else near fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
