Original program from the Frank Sinatra Spectacular for Father Dismas Clark’s Half-Way House on June 20, 1965, 5.5 x 12.25, signed on the interior pages by Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, Kaye Stevens, Count Basie, Johnny Carson, and two others. In fine condition. Accompanied by a flyer noting that Carson would be serving as master of ceremonies, also signed by Carson. Also accompanied by an unsigned two disc set (one music, one video) ‘The Ultimate Rat Pack Collection’ and an unsigned photo from the evening.
On June 20, 1965, Sinatra organized a ‘summit meeting’ in St. Louis as a fundraiser for one of his favorite charities, Dismas House, the first halfway house for ex-convicts. The special was originally televised to a select group of theaters, in a precursor of a pay-per-view event. Fellow Rat Pack member Joey Bishop had hurt his back and was replaced as host by Carson.
