This movie's theme is the difficulty, or rather the impossibility, of obtaining the truth about an event from conflicting witness accounts. It introduced Akira Kurosawa and Japanese cinema to western audiences, and is considered one of Kurosawa's masterpieces. This rare original release Danish poster features beautiful brush-and-ink Japanese art. There is light edge wear and tears, light wrinkling on the fold lines, and a censor stamp in the upper right corner.
