Rare special order Winchester Model 1876 saddle ring carbine showing ultra-desirable case hardened frame in .45-75 caliber with select Walnut stocks, serial number 32664 with factory letter confirming carbine configuration and casehardened. Received in the warehouse February 24th, 1883 shipped from the warehouse February 26th, 1883 to order number 2475 with no other available information. The barrel shows 85% to 95% original blue starting to tone and age naturally with somelight erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The barrel shows a European type fancy adjustable for windage and elevation high quality sight which is adjusted by Allen type wrench. The frame, hammer, lever and front barrel band show 75% to85% original case hardening also just starting to tone and age naturally with some areas of very bright and colorful rainbow hues. The dust cover and loading gate show 90% plus bright and original blue. The stocks show a slightly better thanstandard grain and are perhaps 1x. The spring, butt plate and small parts show considerable bright original blue. The action is good and the bore is bright and near excellent. A very knowledgeable old time Winchester collector
