Rare iron frame Walsh, 10 shot double hammer pistol made for superimposed loads and manufactured by New Haven Arms Company when Oliver Winchester was president and major stockholder concurrent to the production of Henry rifles.Refer Flayderman 7A – 117.5. This Walsh is contained within its original to the period partition style velveteen lined case. The pistol shows a light gray patina finish with traces of original finish mixed in. The barrel address isgood and the grips are good to very good with most of their original varnish and just some slight edge wear with minor marks. The action and triggers are working. The interior of the case is good to very good with some small tatters,impressions and normal aging. The compartment for the flask was slightly enlarged for a Colt type Eagle flask which appears to have been in this compartment during working life. A brass Colt mold is also in the adjoining compartment along withcaps and lead balls. The exterior of the case shows some nicks, mars and scratches but is at least good to very good.
