Rare experimental Luger pistol by Krieghoff with dural (lightweight alloy) frame, 9mm cal. Serial #890 presented by Heinrich Krieghoff to our consigners father in the early 1960’s and featured in Aut Magazine,the official news magazine of the national automatic pistol collectors association. A letter from our consigner which was featured in the magazine tells of his father’s collecting and traveling to Germany to meetMr. Krieghoff. The article states Krieghoff was experimenting with alloys for a strong and light weight frame. A friendship developed between this American collector and Krieghoff and the pistol was presented as agift. The bottom of the frame shows Luftwaffe proof, the barrel shows acceptance marks. The right side of the barrel at breech shows an eagle # 2 proof which is also on right side of frame and breech of barrel. There is a star proof by the eagle on the breech. The toggle is unmarked and the clip shows Krieghoff eagle #2 proof (clip is numbered 79) and is marked on body with eagle L proof and haenel marking. The steel parts

Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
