Rare and desirable 1914-dated artillery Luger by Erfurt arsenal with matching shoulder stock, leather holster. Fine tuning front and rear sights, serial #3709. The Luger shows 90-95% original Erfurt dull military bluefinish, just some slight drifting on the left-front muzzle, edges, and handling areas. The small parts show most of their blue and straw toning nicely. All matching visible serial numbers including magazine. Themarkings are sharp, the edges crisp, the bore is good to very good. The holster is good, darkening from age. Contains cleaning rod and takedown tool. The stock is very good plus and shows correct military proof andend-piece numbered to match. With original leather straps which are at least good. The 1914 Erfurt is extremely difficult to find and a prize to the Luger collector. Knowledgeable expert Randy Bessler statesthis is ‘the only known specimen with matching stock and clip he had ever handled in his career’. Est: $7,000 - $14,000
