Rare and desirable 1902 “Fat-barrel” American Eagle Luger, 9mm, with Ideal stock and grips. Serial #22596. The Luger shows 90-95% original finish evenly thinning and toning at high points and edges. The edges andmarkings are sharp and crisp, the small parts and springs show most of their original straw and bright blue finishes. The Ideal grips are very good plus with some minor dings and mars, slight scratches, allmatching visible serial numbers. The action is crisp, the bore is near excellent. The Ideal stock shows 80-90% blue, very good plus leather cracking slightly, and is matching in condition to this fine and rare Luger. The Ideal holster and stock were available through Abercrombie & Fitch and other American retailers who retailed Lugers at the early turn of the century. An awesome rig. Est: $6,000 - $12,000
