Manufactured before World War II and acquired by Sweden for military and police use, the Swedish HPs show a number of early commercial features, including a high polish blue finish, external extractor, fat safety lever, thin rear sight, checkered takedown lever and square firing pin. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the Walther Banner, "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur)/Walther's Patent Cal 9mm", and "Mod. HP", commercial "crown/N" proofs on several parts, and "H1385" on the right side of the frame. Fitted with a pair of checkered black plastic grips. Included with the pistol is a brown leather flap holster, with a number of faded hand markings inside the flap along with a black ink Stockholm merchant mark.

Very fine, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing some bright wear on the edges and grip strap, along with some scattered patches of spotting on the left side of the pistol and mild handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with a few light handling marks. Holster is very good, with some light scuffing and cracks. Firing pin is stuck forward, otherwise mechanically excellent.
