Introduced by Winchester in 1931 the Model 21 was one of the companies finest efforts with regard to quality, reliability and strength. This Trap Grade shotgun features two sets of barrels numbered to the gun. The 26" skeet barrels have a single steel bead sight on the concave solid matte rib, 2 3/4" chambers, choked modified/improved cylinder ejectors. The second set of barrels is 30" in length, has double steel bead sights on the concave solid rib, 2 3/4" chambers and choke marked full/full with ejectors. The 26" barrels are marked with the model, trademark, gauge and chamber on the left rear barrel and the 30" set is marked "WINCHESTER-12 GAUGE / 2 3/4 CHAM" on the left rear. Each set of barrels is marked with the Winchester oval proof on each side of the flat and "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" and choke markings on each barrel. The water table is marked with the model and address on the left side and the patent numbers on the right. The bottom of the receiver is marked "TRAP" directly ahead of the trigger guard. Tang mounted safety, single trigger with selector and mounted with a checkered beaver tail forearm, (shared by both sets of barrels), and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap and solid red Winchester recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 3/8". Complete in a brown leather covered Winchester hard takedown case with leather corner protectors, double straps, leather handle and maroon felt lining with Winchester label affixed to the inside of the lid. Also complete with a canvas case cover.

Condition: Excellent. The 26" barrels retain 97% of the original blue finish with some thinning at the muzzles, minor wear on the underside from the forearm and some minor scratches. The 30" set retains 98% with minimal wear from the forearm and light handling marks overall. The receiver and trigger guard retain 98% original blue finish with some wear on the fences and high edges and a few minor dings and scratches. The wood is also excellent with some overall scattered minor dents and dings, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Crisp and clear markings. The case and cover are excellent.
