This is an example of a German Navy G29/40 bolt action rifle that was manufactured by the Steyr-Daimler factory and given the wartime code of "660". The top of the receiver is marked "660, over 1940" and the side of the receiver wall is marked "G29/40", the right side of the receiver is marked with three "Eagle WaA623" and one "Eagle 77", the left side has the serial number and Nazi firing proof, the right rear "157" and two "eagle/WaA623" proofs directly behind the hand guard on the right side. The left rear of the barrel is also marked with the Nazi firing proof and serial number. Standard hooded front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 200 meters. The barrel bands, trigger guard and floor plate are the correct early milled versions and the stock and handguard are the wartime laminated versions with a "eagle/swastika / M" and two "eagle/WaA623" proofs on the right side, two small "eagle / WaA623" proofs on the wrist, an asterisk directly behind the grip and "1222 / a / eagle/WaA18 / C. Eagle/WaA18" on the underside and "N" on the stock disk for the North Fleet. Complete with a leather sling, Alcoso bayonet with wooden handles and metal scabbard. Front barrel band mismatched, otherwise visible numbers match.
