Cavalry SA .45 cal. SN 16XXX revolver with 7 1/2" barrel and one piece walnut grips, 1 of only 24 known by this inspector made in 1875 with US holster and belt. Revolver has matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, backstrap and cylinder, barrel 5065 with "C" and "S" stamps, correct "J" inspector stamps to cylinder, trigger guard, backstrap and interestingly the ejector housing. Noted in Kopecs book "A study of the Colt Single Action", that only 4 known revolvers are so marked. Walnut grips show no markings, penciled 2341 on inside, barrel address 2 line patents and U.S. remain crisp. Shows pleasing even silver gray patina, very good mechanically and nice bore.
