25 1/4 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 3 1/4 inches high with a paper label affixed to the inside of the lid, "SPARE PARTS AND APPENDAGES/For U.S. Magazine Rifle Model 1903 with/Sights and Bayonets, Model 1905". Followed by the listing of parts by compartment number and quantity. 75 compartments numbered 1 thru 79, (five compartments are assigned two numbers). Four compartments are empty and the remaining contain all the replacement parts, including springs, screws, bolts, barrel bands, springs, etc. that are needed for a Model 1903 rifle. The number of parts in each compartment range from one to several.

Very fine except for some normal usage wear on a few bolt assembly parts, the parts are in original unused condition. The case itself is good with nicks, chips and wear on the edges, and scattered scratches inside and out. The hinges have been relocated and the latch assembly is absent. Nearly everything you would need to maintain or refurbish a Model 1903 rifle is in this case. One may look for a lifetime to find this, the ultimate accessory for the U.S. Model 1903 Rifle collector!
