Fine overall with traces of the blue finish remaining mostly in the protected areas with the exposed metal surfaces a mixed gray/brown patina. The stock and handguard are both very fine with a nice original medium brown oil finish showing minor handling marks and light scratches in some areas. The cartouche and proof are both clear and visible. A fine example of a very rare late 22LR Krag gallery rifle.
