Featured in this lot is this Rare Perforating Drill Point, found in Texas in 1923. The point features the tapering diamond shape blade cross section and shows a bi-facial flaking. The shoulders are sharp at the tip and rounded at the base in an ovoid design. The point is knapped from a brown flecked flint material. The condition of this Perforating Drill point is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this drill point is 3 5/8" x 2 1/8". The collective weight of this drill point is 25.3g.
