Manufactured circa 1891 to 1911 with this 3rd Model target revolver having the rare 6 inch barrel. The barrel rib has the two line address/patent marking and the caliber marking on the left side of the barrel. The right side of the frame has the S&W trademark and the left side of the frame has the side plate. Equipped with target sights with the front sight being a Lyman blade with ivory bead. Matching numbers on frame, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch. Casehardened hammer and trigger guard with checkered S&W grips. The back of the right grip panel is stamped with the number "49256".

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains nearly 98% original nickel finish showing some light flaking. Traces of original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger guard. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks. Checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
