c1900 Just when you thought you’ve collected everything related to the storied Virginia & Truckee Railroad, we come across a silver plated signal lantern from that storied transportation system of the Comstock. This piece measures around 10” tall and has a 6” base. The chimney is clear glass and the iconic V&T R.R. is embossed on the top. The lamp was made by The Adams & West Lake Company of Chicago and New York. So, be the first and only kid on your block to snap up this beautiful piece of American railroad history. Provenance; V&TRR Superindenant Major Sampson to Reno Banker Gordon Harris. Bud Bassett Collection - HKA#65503
