Sikh Empire, Dulip Singh (last ruler of Sikh) (VS 1900-1906 /1843-1849 AD) Kashmir Mint, Silver Rupee, "Gobind Shahi" Couplet, VS 1903 (1846AD), Governor Shaik Iman ud-din Amir al-Malik Bahadur, Obv: Persian legend "deg tegh o fath Nusrat be darang, yaft az Nanak Guru Gobind Singh", with the additional letter "Sh" for "Shaik Iman ud-din Amir al-Malik Bahadur", Rev: Persian legend "zarb Kashmir" & "Sri Akal purakhji" with date 1903 & leaf mintmark, 10.81g, 19.7mm, (KM # 52.2 /Saran & Dalwinder # KS 240b), no test mark, about very fine, Rare.

Note: The Sikhs lost control of Kashmir during the year VS1903 (1847), which passed to the Dogra Raja Gulab Singh. The first coins by Gulab Singh also date from this year. last year of Sikh coinage at Kashmir.
