The high profile hammer spur and face of the trigger have a knurled finish. "COLT" is roll-stamped on the left side of the barrel. Excellent. The revolver retains 95% of the original, nickel-plated, finish with scattered flaking on the front and rear edges of the cylinder, the edge of the muzzle and bottom of the barrel. There are minor handling marks on the backstrap and the sides of the frame. The varnished walnut grips are in excellent condition and retain nearly 90% of the original finish with some minor handling scratches. The "Colt" marking on the barrel and the serial numbers on the barrel and butt are sharp. The action is crisp and functions well.
