Rare Sharps model 1a pepperbox derringer .22 cal rimfire period scroll engraved in factory or New York style in original Gutta Percha case #11893. The pistol remains in very good plus original condition with approx. 50 - 60% original blue on bbl's drifting to natural patina, 70 - 80% original silver, near excellent Gutta Percha grips. The markings are sharp, edges crisp, and at least very good to near fine overall. The original period case is attributed to Littlefield and Parsons who manufactured these type cases for Sharps and the case shows an embossed velveteen interior with cartridge block and wood rod. The exterior of case shows scroll designs. The interior is good with normal fading, fraying, some tears and discoloration from fading. The exterior is very good plus. Tom Seymour Collection.
